Nikopolis ad Nestum is located near the bulgarian village Garmen, not far from Dobrinishte. It is a roman town and has been one of most important places in the area between 1st and 6th centuries. Before that there has been a thracian village. Archaeological researches have found coins and other items showing religious beliefs at that time. It has had many towers, a bath, a hot and a cool swimming pools, also a changing room. Ski run Liudmil Yankov

Ski run Liudmil Yankov is located in Osogovo mountain, not far from Kyustendil. It is named after the famous local alpine climber Luydmil Yankov. The lenght is 382 m and is 35 m wide, with intermidiate difficulty but also suitable for beginners and snowboarders. There is possibility for skiing at night. If you do not have your own ski equipment, you could rent from ski warderobe. Bereketska tomb

Bereketska tomb

The Bereketska tomb is located very close to the bulgarian town Stara Zagora. It is the biggest one in Bulgaria with 17.5 m height and diameter of 250 m. Thracians have lived here between 7th and 6th century B.C. Here have been found 78 tombs as a part of  necropolis from 3rd century B.C. (early bronze era). Archaeologists have found ceramic objects, jewelry,  etc. This is the only flat necropolis where have been done archaeological researches in Bulgaria and Europe.

Dobarsko

Dobarsko

The church is located in the bulgarian village Dobarsko, not far from town Razlog. It is believed that first people who have visited this place came in 1014. They have been soldiers of king Samuil, blinded after the battle in Belasitsa. They have healed their wounds with spring water from the yard of this church. An unique thing is that there have been no renovations of wallpaintings. They show more than 460 saints and local heroes. St. George and St. Dimitar are shown here in full size which is seen only here and in Athos. Saints are 30, not 4 - 5 as usual which is not seen at other places. The garden is full with different kinds of flowers, making it very attractive. This site is part of UNESCO heritage because of its art and historical value.

Bukovo

Bukovo

The fortress Momina kula is located near the bulgarian village Bukovo, not far from town Dobrinishte. It has been built between 2nd and 3rd century, also used in 12th century. It is naturally protected from north, south and west. Under this fortress have been found a cave with a few entrances, halls with different objects which show that at this place there has existed an ancient village. Nowadays it is not accessible.
