The thracian cult complex Skumsale is located near the bulgarian town Strelcha. It is long 1300 m, wide 600 m and consists of a stone throne, arches, an altar, etc. On south side could be seen furrows which have been used for taking liquids to the next level. Chiflik

The bulgarian village Chiflik is located near town Kardzhali. There you will see ruins from a beautiful church built in 8th - 9th century in "opus mixtum" style. Its walls have been built with bricks and white stone, columns have been decorated with marble plates and floral elements. In the altar has been used a white clay ceramics in stripes which is a rare thing for this period and decorative roof tiles with floral elements and geometric forms in white, green, blue, black and ochra colours. During the archaeological researches have been found parts of a bronze chandelier with glass float lamps. Next to the main church have been found a necropolis with many graves.
